Who is Li-Cycle?
Li-Cycle Corp. (Li-Cycle) is a clean technology company that is solving the global end-of-life lithium-ion battery problem and meet the rapidly growing demand for critical battery materials. Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries are increasingly powering our world in automotive, industrial/utility/residential energy storage, and consumer electronic applications. Since becoming a RIC Centre client, Li-Cycle has progressed from a bench scale-tested resource recovery/recycling technology to an operating and fully integrated Demonstration Plant.
The Value of Partnering with RIC Centre
As an example of the value that Li-Cycle derived from being a client of the RIC Centre, Li-Cycle met one of its current Board members early on as a client at a RIC Centre event. The RIC Centre ecosystem has most certainly added significant value to Li-Cycle’s development of its clean, green and sustainable resource recovery/recycling technology through mentoring, as well as business and investor introductions.
