The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises – Ontario Region is planning to hold a Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP) – Innovation Forum on February 25, 2015.
The Innovation Information Forum presentations are free and brought to you by PWGSC-OSME and its federal government partners. Event hosts may charge a nominal fee. Please check the event calendar link for further details.
The Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP) helps entrepreneurs start to sell their innovative products to the government of Canada. The program calls for entrepreneurs to apply to offer their products to address priority areas for purchasing. Companies that are approved become pre-qualified and attend an event where they meet federal funding and purchasing departments.
If you are interested in applying for a future call, you can attend the BCIP Innovation Forum where companies that were successfully qualified from the call for proposal 005, in summer of 2014, present their products.

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Venue: 3rd Floor Auditorium
Location: Joseph Shepard Building, 4900 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario
The morning session will comprise of testimonials from BCIP pre-qualified innovators and testing departments followed by a panel discussion. The afternoon session will comprise of speakers from various federal departments on their future program needs. There will also be a trade show with display tables from various pre-qualified innovators and federal funding departments throughout the day.
