On October 4-6, 2015, The Immersive Technology Alliance is hosting a special event called Immersed at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto Canada. This is a must-attend event that features unfiltered access to the top names in virtual reality, augmented reality, and stereoscopic 3D technology.
Featuring four keynote addresses, sample speakers include Richard Marks, Director of the Sony PlayStation Magic Lab as well as Phil Chen, Chief Content Officer for HTC and the Founder of the HTC Vive virtual reality head mounted display. Additional companies speaking include AMD, IM360, Nokia Technologies, Starbreeze Studios, InMediaStudio, WEVR, AWE Company, Canadian Film Centre, and many more (and more to come).
Key panels will be moderated by Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet and veteran technology site Tom’s Hardware. Additional international media are expected to be in attendance. Markets covered include immersive cinema and experiences, virtual and augmented reality video games, education, business, graphics technology, future technology, and more. The Sunday afternoon will feature private technical workshops combined with an exhibition that is open and free for the general public. The Monday and Tuesday will be the main conference days for professional delegates, and includes meals, unique networking opportunities, and private demonstrations.
