This technology will be applied to the mining, environmental, agricultural and food industries. We have just transitioned from the R&D space into commercial operations and we are now seeking a candidate to perform the duties of Product Specialist at our demonstration laboratory and commercial headquarters. Preference will be made to candidates with a post-secondary education in the field of Chemistry or Life Sciences. Some laboratory experience in the university setting is considered a strength. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in science, can work well in a team environment, communicate effectively, and is highly engaging. The job description includes the following duties: Manufacturing (10%) – responsible for product readiness and liaison activities between the customer and the manufacturer (forecast product build, inspect and test for product performance and quality, ensure customer satisfaction with deliveries) Demo Lab Operations (50%) – support demonstration laboratory operations by performing sample digestion procedures and engage our customers who visit the demo lab for product orientation sessions (engage customers to send samples for demo lab, perform sample digestion processes, generate product performance reports for customers, engage clients for product orientation sessions) Customer Support (10%)– meet customer needs and ensure a positive customer experience (customer inquiries and follow up communications, customer satisfaction, make recommendations and implement activities to achieve a positive customer experience) Marketing and Sales Support (30%)– engage in key conferences and assist the sales function by helping to educate our customers and differentiate our technology (face to face customer meetings, build awareness of technology and chemistry, educate on its features and benefits, differentiate from current technologies and methods).
