Jennifer Black, CFP, CIM.
Jennifer Black is an experienced Private Wealth Manager and Portfolio Manager with DFS Private Wealth in Mississauga, Ontario. As a Certified Financial Planner and Canadian Investment Manager, Jennifer has an inherent ability to understand clients’ needs, develop portfolios and help families reach their goals quickly and efficiently.
A well-known author and spokesperson for the financial industry, Jennifer has been featured in such respected news sources as the Globe & Mail, Toronto Star, Investment Executive magazine and NewsTalk 1010 radio to name just a few. Their book “Managing Alone”, an Advisor’s guide to surviving the loss of a spouse was launched in 2013 to great reviews, and is now in its second printing.
Jennifer brings the discipline and work ethic she learned in her earlier career as a nationally-ranked tennis pro to her role as a financial advisor. Under her leadership, the DFS team has earned the Consumer’s Top Choice Award as Mississauga’s Top Financial Planner for the last six years.
