Start Me Up! Value Proposition Mentorship Circle with Dave Freeman

Start Me Up Mentorship circles are for clients who completed Value Proposition and/or Business Planning Workshops on ThinkScape platform.
About this event
The purpose of the mentorship circles is to receive feedback and guidance from the course instructor and network and interact with peers who have also completed the Start Me Up workshop.
June 2 @ 9:00 AM-11:30 AM-Value Proposition Mentorship Circle
After completing Value Proposition Workshop, clients are eligible to meet with course instructor and Haltech mentor, Dave Freeman, for a Mentorship Circle to pitch their business’ Value Proposition.
Who should participate?
Clients working on their business’ Value Proposition, who would like feedback or assistance. Ideally, they have completed all five modules of the Start Me Up! VP course.
What to provide?
Please have an e-version of your draft-VP ready to share and ideally, email it to Haltech beforehand. Be aware, your documents will be seen by other participants during the work session.
July 7 @ 9:00 AM-11:30 AM-Business Planning Mentorship Circle
After completing Business Planning Workshop, clients are eligible to meet course instructor and Haltech mentor, Dave Freeman for a Mentorship Circle to pitch their Business Plan using Business Model Canvas approach.
Who should participate?
Clients who have successfully completed the Value Proposition course, and are currently working through the Start Me Up! Business Planning course who have only completed the first two modules and would like feedback on their draft-Overall Strategy Template, or have completed all five modules and seek feedback on their draft-OST plus their draft-Business Model Canvas.
What to provide?
Please have an e-version of your draft-Strategy Template and/or draft-BMC ready to share and ideally, email it to Haltech beforehand. Be aware, your documents will be seen by other participants during the work session.

Meet your instructor:
Dave Freeman– Haltech Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Angel One Investor
Dave has business leadership experience (in CEO, president, and general manager roles), working with branded consumer goods including Natural Health Products, Office Products, Household, Food, and other grocery categories. He’s worked in both corporate Fortune 500 and small, private company settings; mostly on the manufacturer side, but also as a retailer. Classic CPG experience (Quaker Oats and Reckitt & Colman), B2B (Avery Labels) and retail (Health First Network). And he’s worked in Canada and the USA. Dave believes strongly in “aiming” by using value-propositions & business plans; even if your start-up situation requires quick, evolving aim.
