Women United Speakers Series

Join us on March 1, 2021 from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M. for the second instalment of the Women United Speakers Series, Over DUE (Diversity, Unity and Equality). We will be joined by Donisha Prendergast, Director, Writer and Actress, Patricia Scarlett, Founder & Chief Academic Officer of Media Business Institute and Samantha Slattery, Chair & Founder of Women in Music Canada.

The lack of diversity across industries and sectors results in highly inequitable systems. Women continue to bear the burden of the pandemic. Across the country, distress lines have seen a 300% increase and 46% increase in demand of social services.

Join us as we build awareness on issues facing local women and their families, and work together to end the stigma around issues that women face every day.
