hackABILITY will:

  • Facilitate the rapid prototyping of assistive devices that may be considered for further development and commercialization
  • Raise awareness about emerging assistive and adaptive technology opportunities
  • Provide industry mentoring to teams/students
  • Support collaboration between educational institutions and established businesses

Mentors will provide technical or business support to the hackABILITY teams through in-person help sessions, electronic communication, and/or guidance at the launch info sessions (which will be held on Sept 19 & Sept 21). Mentor support is estimated to require 10 hours throughout September – November 2017.
