Up to $5 million on the line in the CRIN Digital Oil and Gas Technology Competition May 31, 2021 CRIN’s $5-million CRIN Digital Oil and Gas Technology Competition is seeking innovators to identify high-impact digital technology solutions that address environmental and economic challenges in Canada’s oil and gas sector. Up to $1 million is available per successful applicant. Applications officially close July 30th, 2021 at 5:00pm PT. They are looking for solutions in one or more of the following focus areas: Environmental monitoring Health and safety Capital project execution Operational excellence and efficiency Beyond oil and gas, CRIN welcomes adaptable solutions from all sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, forestry and mining. They also welcome digital technology solutions from fields such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), cloud and edge computing, digital twins, internet of things (IoT) and others.
