Sheridan’s CAMDT Helps Manufacturing Companies Develop Prototype in SONAMI Program May 3, 2021 Sheridan’s Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Design Technologies (CAMDT), an industry partner for the Southern Ontario Network for Advanced Manufacturing Innovation (SONAMI), is looking for advanced manufacturing companies interested in applied research project opportunities to develop their prototype and get to market. Who Should Apply If you’re looking for an academic partner with the expertise and experiences that might be able to help you solve business challenges. If you want to discover the advantages and limitations of additive manufacturing, and applying it to all parts of the innovation process, from design to prototyping to marketing. If you need help in adapting your production to market demand through the use of robots, computer-controlled machines, sensors, and other stand-alone systems. Funding The funding model is 1:1.2. This means that the industry partner contributes matching funds at a minimum ratio of 1:1.2 (cash and in-kind). Application Process Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
